Haha I'm glad he likes them. I think I blew his mind when I was over there last time showing him the level select and chaos emerald codes on Sonic 2. I heard him yell once "ugh! Stupid monkeys!" and I was like. "Yep, we've all been there."

My daughter has taken a liking to Bonanza Bros of all things, lol, I think she likes the fact we can help each other out on the same screen. She finds Road Avenger funny when I play that but who doesn't? Road Avenger is always more fun for the person watching.

Your daughter has great taste in games thus far.
I want to say that after you beat Road Avenger it unlocks a "watch" mode where you can just sit back and watch the experience as a stand alone film. Either that or it's a code or something.
I wish I was better at Night Trap.

I've been playing B.O.B. for Genesis today. That game had so much potential but little things make it un-memorable. Music gets repetitive and you have to play like 15 stages of the same thing before you get different levels! All those things aside I'm still enjoying it...a little...

I'm back to playing Beyond Oasis again now that I've got the Saturn hooked up in my room. Review to come once I finish.

Been on a Shmup kick last couple days, Arrow Flash, Silpheed and After Burner II (32X) mostly.
I wanted to download Metal Gear Solid (PS1) the other day for my Vita but for some reason it's not on PSN anymore! It's probably still available on my PS3 but I really wanted on my mobile gaming device. I've actually noticed they have taken down a few other games as well, I'm not sure what their up to but I don't like it! You guys are such good listeners.

You may have to own your game on your PSN account first and then do the transfer to the Vita via the PS3. I've heard they weren't keeping the shop as up to date on their handhelds anymore which might be the case here.
Also something you may want to look into. Apparently they released a Valis collection CD of the turbografx CD games on PS1 way back in the day. Hudson, as the current holder of the rights to Valis, have released this collection but only on the Japanese PSN so you'd have to create a Japanese profile to access the store and obtain it there.

I really want to insert the Vince McMahn gif right here. That's awesome! I've actually got a Jap PSN account so next time I go to download I'll look for it!
Played Beavis and Butt-Head most of the day. Had a lot of fun trying to figure out the puzzles. The cut scenes of barf and fart jokes are a worthy reward for figuring them out. I've almost completed my GWAR tickets!

We need to play Beavis and Butthead together next time you're over. I had a hard time getting that game started. Most of my experience was with the SNES version but it seems like the Genesis one has a lot more depth to it.

Oddly enough I had played the SNES version a lot more myself too. I can't remember if you guys owned that game or if it was a 2-player rental staple of a few summers. The hardest part of the Genesis version is getting started. Lots and lots of trial and error and limited inventory space can make it very frustrating to keep playing when your not sure which direction to go next. We will hit up the GWAR concert on the next game night!

I've actually never tried the genesis version of beavis and butthead. The one stage i hated more than anything on the snes version was where your running or bouncing along the top of the fence and poodles and shit coming from all directions. That game is probably the number one reason i hate poodles with a passion!

i can totally see you on a Psychiatrists couch explaining your hatred of Poodles stems from Beavis and Butt-Head on the SNES, LMAO!
Played After Burner and Space Harrier trying to up my high scores before work yesterday.

Don't you hate it when you reach the depths of some crazy dungeon, only to run into a locked door that needs a key that you forgot somewhere an hour back. My day in Oasis.

That's kind of what happened to me in Lunar and also the reason I've yet to finish it. I AM going to finish it but I'll have to back track a bit. Really the only negative thing I can say about the game, love the humor.
