Not sure what kind of power adapter you need for your NES? Have picture but no sound on your PS1? You have the dreaded RROD on your 360!? Post your questions here and we will do our best to help you solve your problem.

Do you have a soldering kit? My Master System has stopped showing picture yet again. It still powers on just fine, so thankfully it's not an issue with the voltage regulator (as far as I know, I think if the regulator gets fried then it won't power on at all). From what I've read, some are notorious for the connection going to the AV to get weak or corrode over the years and basically you just need to freshen it up with some new solder.

No I do not but I'm going to do some research on how much they are. They seem to be an invaluable tool when you have a retro gaming hobbie like ours. Your diagnosis sounds correct to me, if it was fried it wouldn't be powering on at all so that's a good sign.

If you can hook your psp to a computer I think there are shady ways of getting whatever you want on there. I'm not sure if we are allowed to talk about said methods on this board though.

When I first bought my PSP I connected it to a computer and downloaded some games. You have to download a PSN App on the desktop, purchase and then just transfer your games from the PC to the PSP via USB cable. Now, if you can't get on PSN with a PSP anymore I have no idea how you would go about doing this, I'm sure there are some shady ways to do it, ha ha. I guess the first thing you need to do is find out if you can still download the PSN app to your computer and go from there, keep us posted!

From what I'm reading they only shut down the store in PAL and a few other regions, it should still work in the U.S. If that's not the case what you need to download to your PC is called "MediaGO". Just go to Sonys official site and you should be able to find it, it's all legit and thru Sony.

It's a good idea, the Vita does not have 100% compatibility with the PSone classics so you've actually got more of a selection on a PSP. For example, I can't download my Crash Bandicoot games on my Vita or Metal Gear Solid. Wish they would fix that...

Yeah, it's actually bullshit. It was on there a few months ago but they took it down. Might want to add they are releasing MGS 2, 3 and another one on a HD collection for Vita. Coincidence, I think not but I'm derailing the thread here so back on the subject lmao

While rearranging my setup I've been trying to figure out a way to store my Genesis loose carts. I've been thinking of getting an old cassette tape case to see if they will fit but I've yet to find one so I can confirm they will fit inside. How do you guys store your loose carts?

Actually no to long ago i see someone post a double sided zip up cassette tape case and the reason they posted it was because loose genesis tapes fit right in it like a glove. My dad has a case just like it and i was going to use it but it was covered in crap cause it had been sitting in a barn for 2 years.

Awesome! I'll keep a better eye out for one at the Market of Fleas. I think it's the best all around way to store them. It keeps dust out and you have easy access to anything you wanted to play.

Fist and I had a conversation about this last month actually. Down in the lower buildings their is a guy who sales like cabinets and such. Well i believe he has some of those drawer cabinets that has drawers the size of cassette tapes and bigger ones for vhs tapes. If you can remember what they looked like back in the day they had like the wood grain design on them. Anyway we said one weekend we should experiment with a cheap sega cart and see what all drawers and cases they would fit in.
