That's what happens when you have two great systems, Chappy. Ha ha. Brandon, is there anything I should keep in mind/be on the lookout for when I'm Vita hunting?

They cost less than that new ($200 retail). I just don't know if pink is available. To my knowledge, all models of Vita are region free so that shouldn't be hyped in the listing.

You basically only get black or white for U.S. consoles. From what I've been reading, you can import Japanese Vitas, which come in some pretty awesome colors: light pink, white and pink, black and pink, aqua, white and lime, etc., and they're supposed to be region free. I'd love to have one of the pink combos, but it's looking like that might not be feasible.
I found a white one on Craigslist, I'm waiting for them to get back to me about it.

All Vitas are region free indeed. You can also create a Japanese PSN account for your Vita, this will gain you access to all the Jap only games on PSN. I've downloaded 5-6 Shmups using this method. I have the white one, matches my PS4 As far as things to look for I'm not too sure, like the PSP it's built like a tank (dropped mine several times) and I've never had any issues to speak of so far. There might be some YouTube buying guides out there but most of all just inspect the hell out of it in person before you hand over any cash. Might be a good idea to check the card slots for crud. If it belonged to a younger kid they love to eat while playing and chips and whatnot can get crammed into the memory card and game slots. They have little flaps over them so just open them up and peek inside, lol.

If your interested in a colored psvita i believe 2 dudes has a blue one at their store. You know how they are about testing and cleaning their systems so they would hook you pretty good and they have the best deals in the tricities. Just shoot them a message on facebook and ask them if they still got it.

Throwing my 2 cents in on the PS Vita. I love the controls and the nice big screen, it really is a solidly built handheld. In your current internet situation @digger you're going to want to research the physical game releases to see if they're right for you. In my opinion to get the most out of a PS Vita you're going to want to take advantage of the stuff they have on the Playstation store. You can save a lot of money on the more expensive Playstation 1 titles by downloading them from there which is the nicest feature to me. PS1 titles usually run around 5 to 8 bucks on there.
You can take it a step forward by linking your PSN account to both your PS3 and the Vita so you can play your downloaded titles on your console at home and on the go.

Thank you guys, all of you! I'm supposed to meet the person with the white one today, they're cutting me a decent deal on it and it comes with four games, so I might grab it, but I want to look it over first. That blue one sounds tempting at 2 Dudes, as well, though. I appreciate all of your input, you guys rock!! And that's awesome about the Working Designs RPG's, you know how I love my nerdy and quirky role-playing games, haha.

I picked up the white PSP today! It came with 4 games, and I picked up 3 more, lol. But I couldn't find a case for it today, I was trying to make it back home before the snow hit. I'll check a couple other places for the case, or I may just have to order one. 3 guesses what I'm playing first, lol. Attachments:

Nice haul yo! Let us know how mvc3 is on that thing! Will do! I played MK first, it's a very decent handheld port! I already have it for 360, it's comparable and actually has more characters, such as Freddy Krueger and Kratos. I tried playing mvc3, but it gave me a message that I wouldn't earn trophies unless I deleted previous data, but there's no data on the memory card for that game. I'm going to try to figure out that problem first and try to play it again. I'm just not sure what's wrong.
