And I didn't get sick from the food, by the way, it was the stomach virus. Sakura Express is awesome and amazing, one of my favorite restaurants. Just unfortunate that it was the last meal I had before I got sick. :/ It'll just take a while before I can bring myself to eat it again. I don't get the stomach virus often, but I usually can't bring myself to eat whatever it was before it was evident that I was sick for a while, if that makes sense. Makes perfect sense. I didn't eat Macaroni and Cheese for a decade because I got sick after eating a bowl of it. I get it.

Ugh, I'm so sorry to hear that, Brandon. I'd say it'll be a few months for me, at least. I hate that getting sick like that can ruin our favorite foods!

Same thing happen to me when i ate mellow mushroom pizza. First time i ever ate it i happen to get a virus at the same time so ive never been back since. Not to mention the service sucked and its way over priced. If your gonna have a mellow stoner gimmick at your restaurant dont actually hire baked stoners who havnt been sober in a decade. Our waitress was so brain dead it took us 20 minutes to order our food for 3 people.

I totally agree about Mellow Mushroom. WAAAY too overpriced. I know the quality is leagues ahead but it still stings when your large arrives and you think "man, this could have been 3 larges from Pizza hut or 10 larges from Little Ceasars."

How on earth did someone screw up mac n cheese enough to make you sick. Must have been at school or something

I've seen spider egg sacks that look more like Mac and cheese than what they served back in the day haha.

Think I was already not feeling well and the Mac was the last straw. I didn't miss it anyway, never been crazy about Mac. Pasta is usually over cooked, powder cheese + over cooked pasta = paste. Even when I make it myself it looks so damn good but I'm always disappointed by the taste. Whatever, lol, screw Mac n Cheese.

Chili's has this southern spicy mac n cheese that I absolutely love. I could just go there and order a tub of that and be content.
I'd like to note that this thread has to have some kind of record for derailment. Mac n cheese is like the absolute polar opposite of sushi haha!

LMAO Well, I have some good news and bad news in regard to Japanese food. I can eat at the Sakura in Kingsport just fine, had some yaki there Friday, no problems. I tried to eat teriyaki steak at the regular one last week, and all I could eat was the meat. Couldn't handle the rice and shrimp sauce. But like I said, it was fine in Kingsport, but Kingsport makes better rice anyway, so that probably helps.
