I think thats why some people on etsy and ebay do pretty good business making homemade items cause everything official is outrageous. Early today i was on ebay and i came across splatoon plush and not a single one was under $50 for a 10 inch pillow plush a squid from splatoon.

I dont have any plushes or indeed much merch at all as I struggle for space but they sure are cool. You should post your collection George.

"I have a plush dealer" is something even I was surprised to read about on the internet haha. That being said, the Battletoad did turn out great! I'm pretty impressed as Battletoads merchandise usually has a high risk factor for just being creepy or hilarious (in a not so good way). Your "dealer" is pretty talented. "Plush Guy" hahaha. I got a guy for everything. Need cat eyes? I got a guy. You want a toe? I can get you a tie, believe me.

So my plush dealer has pulled through for me again! We've talked about this in the past and i finally had her make one. Sparkster from Rocket Knight! She did a really good job imo, i've always wanted some kind of figure or plush from the rocket knight series!

It came out to $25, thats shipping included. The sword is detachable which is cool. I thought about asking if she could make his goggles able to slip down over his eyes but i forgot. Overall it looks great.

The resemblance is uncanny! Lol, it looks so good man. I'm still interested in seeing if she/he(?) could make me a De-Cap Attack with removable head. That would be so sweet.

I wonder if there's a taxedermied possum made into Sparkster out there somewhere haha.
I'm gonna have to order one of those for Liam sometime. He's pretty nuts about Rocket Knight.

If i was in the taxidermy business i would make all kinds of crazy mascots lol.
I'm def gonna have to order another one. Parker is already badgering me over my sparkster perler bead. He'll go nuts when he notices this.

I feel like I could say daily to my kids "I'm sorry literally every single franchise invented when I was a kid is a thousand times cooler than the stuff they make for you guys now."

Well you just dont see heroes today like you did back in the day. In video games today you have infinite lives and continues to save the world or princess, theirs no challenge to it therefore wheres the emotional attachment you have with these characters?
On tv shows, back in the day they were nothing but 30 minute commercials for the toys. The toys were the star of the franchise that you could go on your own adventures with. Today shows have no depth to them or real heroes. Toys they make for them are half ass products these days. I will say though that shows like regular show do acknowledge how much better stuff was in the past then today lol.

Well, our fathers probably felt this way too when they first looked at TMNT and asked "what the fuck is this madness? Just gimme some Fred Flintstone. Now there's a good show"
In fairness.
