As I mentioned on my Introduction thread, I didn't want to setup my third and fourth shelves until I got back from a show I was going to this weekend. I went and the pickups were large in nature! My Genesis additions: My lot of various stuff. That Game Gear has been recapped, so it should work for another 10-15 years I'm tired of finding broken Game Gears, I have a large library of games I've been itching to play. That Paper Mario was given to me for free by a friend, who also gave me a Nintendo 64 which I left out of the photo. Ugh, I just can't get away from that system! And this was Saturn and SCD Stuff. Was really happy to find Shining Wisdom and Shining Force. The rest of them were just filler titles. I have small aspirations of finishing a Saturn collection, about 40%? done it. Later this week I should get the rest of my living room organized and take a photo of my setup!

Super nice dude! What kind of show did you go to? Every month maybe two there are various "swap" meets here in Ontario. This was a video someone made a few months back for one of the shows. This one in particular, the Waterloo Video Game Swap, is the biggest one, and is done twice a year. It's pretty much Christmas every time it comes up. There are smaller shows throughout the year, ranging from 25-75 vendor tables, but this one is 120. It's basically a flea market, except all retro games . I usually stop buying stuff a month or so in advance for this show to put aside as much money as possible, since the deals are great, and the games are plentiful.

Found my PSP and GBA SP! Will have to locate a charger for the GB but the PSP seems to be working fine, even the UMD drive which is surprising.

From what I remember it's a straight port of the original game. I've been searching for the charger for over an hour now, I really want to play it!

If you never find it I bet you can order a GBA charger on Amazon for $.85 if you wait for the slow boat from China, or like $4.99 for something a bit faster.

That's awesome, Brandon! I may have to look for that port of Earthworm Jim myself. I can't decide what system I want to try it on, but handheld is almost always the best option for me, personally.

Got my GeniStick in yesterday! Space Harrier plays like a dream with this but I'm not sure I like it with AfterBurner II. only reason I went ahead and pulled the trigger for one of these was price. $12. I felt a lot more comfortable paying that instead of eBay prices for a peripheral I'm going to use on just a few games.

How goes the quest for an activator? Eternal Champions will never be the same after you play with that.

The Activator is kinda on the back burner for the time being, I've got my eye on a certain something and if it's still there next payday I'm grabbing it. I'll never find it cheaper. I'm also browsing around for an X-band. Since this will truly be just a collectable I'm just waiting for one to list cheap as crap. It will make a great conversation piece if nothing else, "that's right, you COULD get online with your Sega Genesis" lmao

Difficulty is you need a dial up connection (which apparantly some people still have) or you need to set up your computer to mimic a dial up connection - possible but complicated). Good luck finding anyone else with the right tech and a dial up connection and a willingness to actually play it though. Its far easier just to set up emulators to do multiplayer over the internet however. Also if youre on a quest for all the peripherals dont forget the Batter Up controller. I've always wondered if its a heap of junk or not.
