I'm watching Hope Springs, a BBC show about 4 ladies released from prison who try to find an easy way to the good life and make it to the tropics, but crazy junk happens and they end up in a sleepy little town in Scotland instead. It's interesting so far. I keep finding myself wanting them to make it and not get caught in the insane traps they accidentally set up for themselves, lol.

Well, I'm still waiting for someone to bring season 4 of Once Upon a Time back to the library, it's been out for nearly 4 weeks now. I want to watch it so much, it's driving me crazy.  I don't have cable, just an antenna with 4 channels, so I either buy movies or check them out at the library. My library has a lot of BBC stuff, but I'm glad. It gives me something different to watch, I'm rarely disappointed. I've been watching other stuff, another good one I've been watching is Last Tango in Halifax. It sounds boring, about this elderly man and woman who were in love when they were young but never got to be together, so they married other people and met later in life after their spouses had passed away, and they realize they still love each other, so they end up getting back together. It's actually very sweet and a very good show, their families intermingle and wacky hijinks ensue. I'd call it a British dramedy, lol. Anyway, I watched 2 seasons of it, I hope the library gets more. The only BBC show I haven't been able to get into is Wolf Hall, but I might give it another go if I can't find anything else to watch sometime. |

Sounds like you need a TV Tuner for your Sega Game Gear. (This is bad advice actually, they no longer work)
One of my few tv tuner memories was using one to pick up the playboy channel somehow while on the bus on a field trip.

I use to bootleg hbo and showtime using a dial tv, cable box and vcr all rigged together set to different channels. I made this discovery when i was like 8 lol.

I wonder if that set up would work now? Probably not since everything is digital instead of analog, but ya never know.

Probably just have to try it out and see wha happens. Isn't that the reason they were sending out those conversion boxes like 10 years ago? |

The new Danger Mouse cartoon is on Netflix. It's pretty neat so far. The usual Danger Mouse kind of stories, except there's more than 5 minutes worth of animation to the series haha.
