I know i said before that the 2ds is a hassle to travel with unless you have a bag to put it in or something but they recently did a price drop down to $99.

I like playing on the 2DS, I think it's put together pretty well but yeah I can see how trying to travel with it would be a hassle.

Nintendo finally decided to release the standard size "new" 3ds into the US. As of right now its bundled with the new animal crossing home decor game thats coming out. The cool features on this 3ds is it does have slightly bigger screens than the other standard 3ds. It has the c-stick, bigger processor, changable faceplates, and the famicom colored buttons.
Also in other news more updates have came out pertaining to the NX. Apparently nintendo is already in the process of replacing the 3ds with a new protable system that will have connection with the NX similar to playstation and the vita. Nintendo is starting to feel that the 3ds is "old" and needs a new protable front runner. Whats your guys thoughts?

Nintendo is apparently trying really hard to be 32X Sega Saturn era Sega. Too many systems! This gets confusng to consumers. I know I'm confused. I wanted a 3DS but should I wait to see what this new handheld or console really is? They need to get a handle on these rumors because it doesnt help them.
They need to just focus on handhelds and let the console market go as much as I love them. THe buy a console every 5 years thing just doesnt work anymore as a business model. Not when I can get a PS4 or an Xbox and know that they'll support it for at least 10 years.

I think since the launch of the GBA Advance Nintendo has launched a new handheld every 2 years like clockwork. Now sometimes it's just improvements on the same system (DS Lite, "New" 3DS) but someone should look it up, I'm pretty sure it's every 2 years in March.

Sounds about right because I always have this feeling of "what really? Already?"

Not sure if anyone else here plays it but, Hatsune Miku came out on 3DS last week. It's a Sega made rhythm game, and its AWESOME. I've been playing them on Playstation 3 for years now, but glad to have it on 3DS now!

They've released the sega 3ds themes. Soon they are releasing a master system, saturn, and dreamcast theme. If you find the video it plays the sega cd theme on the 3ds home screen.

Looks like I just couldn't live without it, lol. It plays the Sega CD boot up music while browsing. Attachments:
