Have any of you seen this? I figure with so many Sega fans around here you probably have. Or at least wondered who it was in my avatars and searched that way Fist introduced me to this one night while we were chatting about anime and I got hooked. Being the fan of the Dreamcast that I am I decided to model my profile here after her. The premise behind it is Mega Drive, Saturn, and Dreamcast are attending Sehagaga Academy and must visit various game worlds to earn medals in order to graduate into full fledged game consoles. Irs really cool because they use the in game resources whenever they can when they visit the in game worlds. I loved it when they went inside Space Channel 5 and Jet Set Radio. Anyway here is pretty much anything else you want to know about it en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Hard_GirlsSo am I the only fan here? If you want to see it all of it is now on Hulu with subtitles but I found it really easy to just find the episodes online with google myself

If I'm not mistaken they have two separate characters for the Mega Drive and Genesis correct? Who ever decided to do that, high five.

You also have to factor in how crazy Sega of America's aggressive tactics must have seemed to the Japanese. So it's not hard to imagine them seeing SOA as wild Cowboys, ha ha! I too like Genesis' look, it does somehow fit.

I've heard of it and been curious just always assumed it was a 'slice-of-life' with Sega characters. Will give it a go.

You know japan will always see us as the "american cowboy" type "YEE HAW" i actually like the design of the genesis girl. When they mention Genesis in the show they say "she's an outspoken cheerful girl who prefers to go by Jenny." Haha nice touch there. I think the show's animation is pretty meh but they make up for it with all the easter eggs and Sega nostalgia like EVERYWHERE. I was hooked on the show when Dreamcast offered to check the web for something then her eyes went blank, it started making the dial up noise, and then the Dreamcast web browser appeared in a thought bubble above her head. Good stuff!

So can you find this on YouTube? Thinking about checking out a few episodes for some of these cool Easter Eggs.

So can you find this on YouTube? Thinking about checking out a few episodes for some of these cool Easter Eggs. If you have Hulu it's all on there. But a simple google search of Seha Girls will yield a few different sites streaming it. Probably harder to find a subtitled version that way though.

Some actually somewhat affordable Sega Hard Girls merchandise just came out recently. These rubber keychain/strap characters run on average about 7 to 10 bucks depending on what site you order them from. Here is the latest link I looked at www.anime-oz.com/sega-hard-girls-rubber-straps.html

My daughter and I watched the first couple of episodes on Cruchy Roll, couldn't find them on Amazon for some reason. Anyway, we are both hooked on this cute and charming show. We were both laughing most of the episode. I think she really enjoyed seeing these games in another media format, she has mentioned Sega to her friends before but it's just not a well know name with kids her age, lol. Look forward to checking out more episodes in the future.

Yay someone watched it! I know hulu has the complete series if you have a subscription there.
Poor gal. I hope the attitude towards Sega changes in 2016 now that the company has announced their new business plans. Not to mention the console wars stuff if it ever comes out.
