Has anyone ever played any gameshow games for any system? I think for just about every system you can find a wheel of fortune, jeopardy, or family feud something along those lines. The only one i ever played was jeopardy on my neighbors early 90s computer, the only thing i can remember from that game is if you push the m and f key at the exact same time when it asked what sex you are you would usually get some 8-bit hermaphrodite mutant. Anyway i ordered a huge lot of n64 games this past weekend and found out it has a copy of wheel of fortune in it. Im probably gonna use it as trade fodder this weekend at the flea market but before then ill try it out lol. How about you guys, any game show games from your past?

If only SmashTV were a real game show...
I like the idea of game shows and board games being transferred to video games more than I actually like them.

I've got a copy of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on the Genesis and they are both a hoot to play with the family. Always dirt cheap, I highly recommend them for their co-op potential.

The only thing I don't like about titles like that is that you cant really do any sort of custom rules or play on teams in non team games. My biggest issue is probably with video game versions of monopoly though we were always making up crazy rules to keep things interesting.

I like the super dated categories in older Jeopardy games. Like the category is Sitcoms and you're answering questions about All in the Family or Cheers.

Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are great for NES and SNES. Clue is super fun on SNES, but be sure to have pen and paper on hand to help keep up with everything. Another good one is Classic Concentration for NES. I'll have to see if I can find WoF for N64, I'm always interested in playing different versions of Jeopardy and WoF.

Disregard the part about Clue ... I'm not sure why I included it since it's a board game/movie, lol. Sorry about that, hahaha.

Fun movie. I'm surprised the multiple endings gag hasn't been copied in other films.

We need a "video" board game thread too!

I'm always down for some Jeopardy. Kind of gives me an idea for the next game night...

I think I've only played Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune by myself or with family. It'd be cool to grab some pizza/popcorn and get together with a bunch of friends to play 'em.

I think part of that is if you ask 3 different family's how to play Monopoly your going to get 3 different set of rules. I only actually learned the true rules of Monopoly like 10 years ago, I was playing it completely wrong all of my childhood, lmao. The first time I played a "video" version of Monopoly I was like WTF!? but it was just were I was so used to the made up rules everyone uses.
