Enjoy your X-men vs. Street Fighter cab where only the jab button works on both sides haha. Nah seriously I hope they have some good stuff. I remember the last time we took a beach trip they had a pretty killer arcade. They even had Mega Man Power Battles in there. It's a real treat to play that one in a stand up. If you head to the main strip be sure to check for that good ol Alpha 2 machine. I was astonished that the very same machine was still there in the same place after like 10 years. So many good matches with SC randoms.

Talking about messed up cabinets lol. One of the last times i went to Gatlinburg we stopped at a go-kart place just to use the bathroom because thats all their was up and down the strip we were driving through. Waiting around i spot a capcom vs snk 2 cabinet. Never thought i would ever in my life see one of these machines so we had to try it out. Everything looked amazing on it but the biggest problem it had was it was on about 3 inch legs and it was missing one so this machine was swaying back and forth so bad. First of all i didnt know arcade cabinets had feet on them second we could not find a single thing in that arcade to stick under it to keep it still. It was fun to play but the swaying was hard to deal with.

So Silverball City was pretty rad. Tons of awesome classic games to play. I spent a while on the Super Mario Bros standup. Since I can blast through that game on nes I can appreciate the changes they made to the arcade to catch people off guard who had the nes version memorized. Other Nintendo classics include Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mario Bros. They had the Pacmans and Galaga covered. They had a couple of racing games and that extreme scooter game where you actually stand on a scooter haha. The only fighting game they had was Marvel Super heroes and unfortunately you could not duck on the first player side which makes the game pretty much unplayable. The cool thing was if you let someone know that something was broke or a table got locked up they were on top of it fixing it. They unfortunately didn't have the part needed for Marvel tonight. @digger and I got pretty far through Die-Hard Arcade before we decided to call it quits. On to the pinball...they have a TON of machines. I didn't do particularly well on them tonight because I was floating to different machines so much. Lots of tables I had forgotten about and some I hadn't played before. I know fr0zenbeast remembers Party Zone!

This game is insane lol. You start out shooting all sorts of wwII jets and planes. The bosses in this game are huge versions of large wwII planes or ships and about half way through the boss battles they transform into some kind of mech shooting billions of bullets from every direction lol. I was impressed that my son parker and i made it to mission 3 on a dollar (only 25 cents to play) playing 2player.
