Let's talk board games that became video games!
I've already mentioned that I love Clue for SNES in another thread. I love Sorry! on PC, too. I don't know that there is a newer game out there, but I played it in the late 90's/early 2000's, and it was fun to play on a computer that could handle the graphics for the animations. The different colors had their own voice and attitudes. Blue was an uppity female voice, Green sounded like a surfer dude, Red sounded like he was from Jersey, and Yellow sounded like a wimpy little guy, haha. So much fun.
You Don't Know Jack was really really fun for PC, too. I miss that, I'd love to find a more recent rendition of it out there somewhere. The FB version expected you to buy stuff, and I'm not into that. You couldn't even wait a day to answer more questions, it expected you to pay-per-play.
I used to play Payday on PC in school. It is the one board game I have only played as a video game.
I want to try Monopoly sometime, I'm on the lookout for it, not particular on which system.
What about you guys, any faves or on the lookout for any such games?

I always loved this Sega Genesis game: Which was based off of a very nerdy dice rolling game with little robot models also called Battletech.

I know their not real board games but i cant stand the mario party games! For some reason they just annoy the piss out of me. I will say i never gave it much of a chance but i would love to do some 4 player sonic shuffle sometime. I know its not the greatest either but ill play it before mario party.

I'm surprised Nintendo has not produced a "Mario Party" physical board game...

I've never played any of the Mario Party games, I was always wary of them. I've just never walked by one and said, oooh, must have! Maybe they're more decent than I give them credit for? I have no idea. I'll try if someone wants to let me borrow it, haha.

Mario Party is one of those things that was a cool idea when it first came out, but after who knows how many sequels, the dead horse has been beaten to dust.
This is just my opinion, but I could probably only have fun with Mario Party again if alcohol was involved, haha.
As for actual board game video games. Monopoly for SNES was pretty cool as I recall. I seem to remember it having lots of options for customization, like starting the game with tons of extra money for all players so you could go about it more recklessly.
Have any of you played Capcom's Quiz and Dragons arcade games? Those were some really cool fantasy themed quiz/board games.

The only Mario mini game I ever really liked was the little Yoshi race thing on Mario 64 for DS. Man, that is so much fun to play with a bunch of people, a bunch of different colored Yoshi's running around, tripping all over each other, hahaha.
I'm going to have to pick up Monopoly for SNES, if I don't have it in my backlog somewhere (how sad is that - I don't even know for sure, lol).
I haven't played Quiz and Dragons, sounds interesting!

I was big into the various warhammer board games when I was a teen.
Still play a lot of their virtual offerings, just picked up the videogame adaption of the Space Hulk board game and its very good. Anyone else have this? Would happily play some games.
