I've ordered the Hori Mini 4 from Amazon because it's about the same size as my Asciiware stick for my Genesis and I love that stick so I think it could be a good fit, we will see. The price was what ultimately helped me make my decision, for only $40.00 its worth a shot. The only downside is its on backorder BUT since I have Amazon Prime they upgraded my shipping to 1-day delivery for free for the inconvenience. I'll let you guys know what I think when it arrives.

So the ps4 finally came today. Everything looks awesome and checks out good! He did delete everything off the console so its just like having a brand new one. He wasnt kidding when he said he didnt play it cause the controller is in flawless shape except for it having dust on it where he never used it lol. If anyone wants to add me my screen name is Fr0zenbeast84. Right now im waiting for the 3 hour install update for sfv lol. So its probably gonna be 12am before i can play lol.

Glad you found yourself a stick!
In case anyone is still curious about purchasing an arcade stick here's my super quick bare bones guide:
For guaranteed quality I always stick with Madcatz or Hori but I lean more towards Madcatz, more on that below.
Madcats TE sticks are super easy to modify and repair. Nowadays they even give you the proper tools you need without voiding your warranty. On the inside they use quick disconnect cables on the buttons, which means there is no soldering involved, you literally just unplug the button if you want to change one out to a different color or make a repair. Changing the artwork on your stick is usually really easy too (if it's a TE).
The same can mostly be said about Hori's larger models, except it takes more work to change the artwork out on them. When it comes to repairs it's the same sort of deal. You really only run into problems with Hori's smaller sticks because they tend to solder the buttons directly onto the board on the inside. Which means without very careful handling and soldering experience, you're tough out of luck when it comes to a broken button.
If you don't care about aesthetics, changing art and buttons etc both Madcatz and Hori stand on equal ground, basically because they both use Sanwa sticks and buttons, which is what is found in Japanese arcade cabinets. So you're getting the real deal with both companies. Just check item descriptions, they'll tell you what kind of parts are used.
Now, don't let all this make you afraid of broken buttons or anything. As much as I play I've never had a button actually break from general use. However, I have accidentally dropped a stick before and had to tighten the screws inside of the casing because of it. Having the freedom to do repairs is just my own preference. I also like to take apart the buttons and clean the gunk out of them every year or so for general maintenance. I guess what I'm trying to say is try not to ever drop your stick or bang anything against it. With general use it should give you years of reliable play.

Thats awesome you got the hori mini4. I really want to try that stick out. If i hadnt of got the madcatz fightstick alpha the mini or the madcatz pro pad was my next choice. I watched a review vid and they said it was a very solid stick that gets the job done. I wish had a nice stick to use on my xboxone for killer instinct but the madcatz TE2 for it runs about $300, way too much just for me to play KI.

I beat Touch My Katamari on Vita this morning. I can always go back and improve my scores, though. Now to concentrate on Fire Emblem Fates!

Might hold off on the vita right now. I might still shoot for a retron 5. Come to find out gamestop is having a deal right now that they are giving the same amount in cash as their store credit. Ive got a few modern games to take advantage of this deal, especially that cod black ops 3 which i have no desire to play. Ive been eyeballing this thing for awhile now to feed my retro needs lol.

Well after much internal struggle it's done. Had to cancel my order for the Hori Mini and after realizing the MadCatz Alhpa was the ONLY other entry level fight stick on the market went ahead and ordered one even though I didn't want to spend that much. Read some reviews for it and it looks like MadCatz cut a lot of corners to get the price down but I'll judge the stick myself when it gets here. I was able to bitch enough to get a free overnight delivery however so that did help with the choice, it should be here Tuesday.

So hey im looking to pick up some new games besides the nes. I know tons of good classics i can get for genesis without breaking my wallet but im having trouble with the snes. Do you guys recommend any titles for the snes that wont cost me an arm and a leg that are good?
I will continue my conquest though to own a copy of wild guns to carry the ultimate trophy! The cowboy hat that says "i own wild guns!" Lol.

Depends on what you like. SNES titles are pretty steep except for sports games. If you like baseball, any of the Ken Griffey, Jr. games are fun. Street Hockey '95 is fun ... Can usually pick those titles up for less than $3 or $4. Mario games are usually going to run a bit more in the $20-$40 range, but at least the All-Stars/Super Mario World is worth the usual $39 because you're getting about 4 games in one. Mario Paint used to go for about $15, I'm not sure what the going price is lately. All the TMNT games are pretty expensive, but awesome. And I can't really think of a bad SNES RPG, but those go anywhere from $10-$49 right now. Street Fighter II Turbo, MK1, MK2, and UMK3 are timeless. Good luck, and have fun SNES shopping!
