So up until recently I was thinking I would have to move back to England which meant most of my clothes and gaming systems are now in boxes at my parents place 3000 miles away. However the good news is I dont have to leave now but due to the cost of shipping it back here and the fact I may not stay here forever anyway I probably wont be getting any of them back soon.
I kept my Xbox One, Mega drive and a gameboy here but most of my games are gone back. Since I had a little win after my girlfriend dragged me to the casino I'm deciding to jump back on the DS bandwagon but really cant decide on which one is better suited for me so hoping some of your owners can offer me a little insight.
From what I cant tell these are the main points:
2DS:
N3DS-XL:
It doesnt seem like either are a necessarily a bad pick but Im slightly leaning more towards the 2DS right now since its meant to be a little more comfy in the hand and is obviously cheaper. I can always upgrade too further down the line or pick up the inevitable next model that I bet has a larger C-stick and better specs. Will I be making a mistake if I do this? Are there some great games that make the extra stick way better or does that bigger screen make all the difference? Money is not necessarily an issue since both are easily in my price range but 130 bucks is 2 or 3 extra games.

From what I cant tell these are the main points:
2DS:
- Can get one for ~$100 with a game
- I dont care about 3D
- Supposedly very comfy and less fragile
- Cost is way more ($230)
- Screen is a lot bigger
- Extra c stick for new and more intense games
- Hardware is supposedly a little more powerful
