This thread is of course for the discussion about anything X-Files related. Unless you've been living under a rock, or maybe just not a fan, you've probably heard the series is coming back. Of course this article was written a while back so you may need to watch a few a day. Okay for me since I have a habbit of watching a few a day. What are some of your favorite episodes? I like to hop around the series too so I'd love to visit some of your favorites. |

I watched the entire series about 5 years ago but it's about time to watch them all again! I love this series as well, each episode feels like a mini movie. Anyone getting into the show for the first time will be hooked quickly. The entire series amazing but the first two seasons are pretty top notch (in my opinion of course) with only 1 or 2 "meh" episodes sprinkled in. I think I'll post a top 10 favorite episode list soon and would be interested in seeing everyone else's favorites as well!

I need to watch some x-files, its been years since i watched it. It was so awesome and creepy every weekend to stay up and watch sightings then x-files.

My how many things would have been different if Mulder and Scully had smart phones or even basic camera phones back in the day. I wonder if they'll at least comment on this in the new show.
I also wonder if they're going to set the time period of the new season before 2012 because remember the smoking man said the alien invasion was set to happen sometime in 12/12 if I remember correctly.

So I've really enjoyed watching X-Files again last couple of nights. The show didn't feel forced or awkward at all, it hit all the beats of the old show perfectly. Will I remember the last couple of hours of the show fondly someday like I do the rest of the series, maybe, maybe not BUT next week is a monster episode and I squealed like a little girl with excitement! Really glad they brought it back.
