It burns me up to think about it, but I found a local craigslist ad last year where a guy 30 minutes from me was selling a complete 32x collection for around 400 bucks. Everything was complete with boxes, manuals and posters. It included 2 32x units both with their boxes and all the inserts, baggies and posters and such. Unfortunately it was during some hard times for me so there wasn't anything I could do at the time :/

I'll work on getting some pics up in the Finds thread to show you guys the 32X games I picked up, only got a few more carts and I'm done but they are of course the more expensive ones. Perhaps worth spending the cash on the Everdrive rather than blowing 300-400 on that mediocre Spiderman game thats so rare. I'd get it if you were after a complete set though. I'll be Everdriving the more expensive games for sure, not interested in a complete set. I still wanna get a physical copy of Kolibri, Tempo and Chaotix. Blackthorne would be on this list but over the last couple months it's went into Web of Fire territory. It looks like fun but not $200.00 fun.

Complete set of 32X games shouldn't be too difficult. Can't be more than 50 games. Its not a large set but if I recall correctly theres 2 or 3 games that were only released in Europe (FIFA and Darxide) as well as a rare spiderman game that was mail order only and goes for a few hundred now.

There is a Japan only "Romance of the whatever Kingdoms" title for 32X as well. Other than Star Trek think that's the only thing close to an RPG you can get on 32X.

I loaded up some cash on my 3DS and got the Game Gear version of Master of Darkness to play on the go. Despite the crunched aspect ratio it's still a blast to play. So far I haven't run into anything where it effects game play (not like fighting bosses in the Sonic Game Gear titles vs the Master System versions if you know what I mean).

Played some Sonic 2 in celebration of Sonic 2sday. Said to myself I was only going to play for a few minutes but before I knew it I was already at Oil Ocean, ha ha. It had been a couple months since I played it last so it was a very relaxed enjoyable play through.
Been taking on Zaxxon 32X in small doses as well, wasn't sure what to make of it at first but it's really grown on me. Other than Kolibri it's really the only other shooter in the library (not counting the free roam games of course) and its better than what most people give it credit for I think. Not perfect by any means but a solid game for sure. It has the weapon steal ability from Gaiares and some cool mid-90's dance music soundtrack.

I pulled out the old GameBoy Advance SP and saved some lives as Dr Mario. You throw enough pills at the virus and it'll die.

I also decided to give Shinobi for Game Gear a try on my 3DS. So far it's pretty cool, like a slightly watered down Revenge of Shinobi. Love the 8 bit version of the boss theme.

Played BattleToads & Double Dragon this evening. Slowly making progress but still haven't beat that one yet. Games on Zaxxon, AfterBurner, Space Harrier and Mrs. PacMan sprinkled in as well.

Battle Toads and Double Dragon is awesome. You'll end up beating it soon no doubt, it's nowhere near as harsh as the original Battle Toads. I think the hardest stage in the game is the space ship shooter stage. It's very long and my hand aches by the end of it. This is one stage where I'm afraid I need a turbo controller in my old age haha.

Kind of funny...sort of sad moment happened this evening. I popped in some Doom on 32X just to kinda blast some things to blow off some steam while the kids were in bed. My youngest snuck out and was in the room with me while I was unaware. Anyway one of the demons pops around a corner and roars and he lets out the most high pitched squeal I've ever heard in my life which in turn scared the crap out of me. I blasted the thing with the shot gun the second it appeared but I still felt horrible. He laughed shortly after and said that was awesome, so at least he wasn't traumatized.
He asked me if he could play that "scary game" too. As pixelated and silly as Doom looks these days I had to turn him down for the time being haha. He's gotta graduate from his Sonics and Marios before I'll let him venture into hell.
