Playing "Popful Mail" for the Sega CD! I love Popful Mail. The hardest thing about it is that bosses just tend to pop up without warning. For that reason, save often! It'll let you save on every screen, except for when you reach a boss, but by then it's too late. As for what I'm playing this evening, I'm gravitating between Valis II for Turbografx CD and Valis III for Genesis.

Dude that megadrive copy of valis III looks amazing. I have to say valis III is in my top 5 best genesis soundtracks.
I love popful mail alot also. I was playing it for awhile but then i switched over to mickey mania on the sega cd. I can remeber playing mickey on the snes when i was younger and thought it looked amazing then. Now playing it on the sega cd makes me feel like im playing the hd remastered version lol.

Been working on a review of Valis 1, so I spent most of the weekend playing that. I did break here and there to play some OutRun though. OutRun is never not fun.

I'm really awesome at wrecking on outrun lol. Nah here lately I've been playing Golden Axe 2 and Alien Storm. Two incredible early beat em ups if you dont have em. Im hardcore determined to beat both these games solo but as i progress closer to the end the enemies are getting tougher and spawning in large numbers. On my second play through on alien storm i made it half way into the final stage so probably another go or two i should be able to take down the final boss! Same with Golden axe 2, those final stages are burtal with wave after wave of non dying skeletons and lizard people lol.

I've been playing Panic! on Sega CD with my kids. It's hard to describe what this game is exactly. You basically just push on screen buttons and watch random and absurd things happen. There is a story to it and if you manage to make it through the madness you end up saving the world from a computer virus but we're not quite that far yet.

I need to burn me a copy of that game when i get some more cds. I've taken a break from the beat em ups due to playing cyberball on the genesis. Right now im on week 5 undefeated. Hopfully i can take the Minnesota Monsters to the superbowl lol.

After beating Popful Mail I've moved on to El Viento. Viento is another underrated and awesome game by Rennovation (Wolf Team/ Telenet) for the Genesis. I can make it to the last stage but keep falling short. The entire stage is filled with bats. Lots of bats, so many bats I'm actually experiencing slow down! It's ridiculous but I'll get past it eventually.
The other game that's been in my Genesis the most recently is AfterBurner II for 32X. A super cool port of an arcade classic. Trying to up my high score which is currently around 300,000. Anyone who has ever played AfterBurner knows that's not too great, ha ha.

I've been playing Megaman x today. I remember being a lot better at it when I was younger. I know the boss order but they are still stomping me. I guess my reflexes arent what they used to be.

Such an awesome game. My back log is getting too long I started a game on the Turbografx CD version of Valis III this evening. It's like a retelling of an all too familiar game. Lots of things are different. Expect a full review of it once I do one for Valis II and the Genesis version of III.

Retro gaming wise I've been playing Legend of the Mystical Ninja and turtles in time. Other than that I've been trying stuff on the 3ds.
