I'm particularly bored today so I decided I'd give twitter a go. I'm Dreamcastie on there.

I accidentally reactivated FB on 1/16 and had no idea until today. I had to log back in briefly through an app on my phone to unlink it, I didn't think about it reactivating my FB account. And now people noticed its back and are asking me to stay. But just going through my news feed is making my stomach churn. Blah. I don't know what to do.

The only reason i keep a facebook is to get ahold of 2 dudes and other dealers i do business with. I sometimes post on there but i never check it.

Yeah, I hear you on that, fr0zen. I'll probably deactivate again, but FB was the only way I communicated with some of my friends. I'm kind of torn. One suggested to get a second FB, and that would be logical. I just don't want a bunch of people on it that I never talk to and people who just want to get all up in my business, ya know? Plus there's some personal crap I don't want to deal with, too. Gah. It makes me appreciate Twitter, that's for sure!

Seconding this. In Facebook's defence, the idea of Facebook is pretty cool in my book. It's the people we know that make it shitty. Isn't that sad?

I can't deal with FB, I've pretty much decided. When it feels like a knife to the gut to even look at your newsfeed, it's not worth it. I'll end up deactivating it, just not right away. There were some people that don't have any other way to contact me, so I want to make sure they know first.

Yea with Facebook I found myself always hiding other people's posts from my view and also hiding my posts from a list of people. Too much trouble. Just deactivated.

Does it seem like to anyone else that facebook is where the people that probably should not have internet access gather up? facebook is like the grease trap of the internet's sink.

So, I'm on OKCupid for whatever stupid reason. And this guy reaches out to me only to ask if I know any good goth places to get inspiration for some kind of role in a gothic play he's going to be in. I didn't think I looked that goth (nerdy/quirky/awkward/weird, but not goth), but oh well, rofl. I thought that was pretty hilarious.
