This is a great time to pop in something retro or modern with some creepy bloody scare factor to it! Any of you guys gonna play anything around Halloween time, or whats some good scary games you recommend?
I havnt tried it before but today i did pick up ZombiU for $10 and though i would give it a try Halloween weekend. I've heard some okay stuff about it so i hope its good. Also I'm gonna play the Shovel Knight DLC plague of shadows so i got plenty to keep me busy through the night. How you guys?

I think I'm gonna sit down and finally play all the way through Master of Darkness. Actually, I think that would be a cool title to do for the next Mega Base plays thing. It's captures that good ol Castlevania 1 action without being controller tossingly difficult.

I'm going to see if I can find Zombie Ate My Neighbors before Halloween ... I love that game so much. Great little shoot 'em up game, better in co-op mode though.

That and Smash TV are like the parents of twin stick shooters though they didn't have that second stick lol. I guess Gauntlet deserves credit too.

And I should have said ZOMBIES Ate My Neighbors, not just one zombie chomping on my neighborhood folks, lol.

Smash TV is great. I suppose it's closer to Gauntlet than anything.

Zombies Ate My Neighbours is good fun! The Resident Evil 1 HD Remake on PS4/PC is pretty good for a scare. The scariest game I've ever played has to be Outlast on PS4. I threw my controller a few times!

As far as current consoles my vote goes to Alien: Isolation. Price dropped on it recently so it's more affordable, just in time for Halloween! You guys may have already heard me say this but Isolation is the only VideoGame I've ever played that gave me real anxiety. Seriously, I had to play it in short bursts because it made me a nervous wreck!
I think Snatcher is a great game for this time of year as well, lots of creepy visuals and amazing creepy music to with it. The game actually takes place during the holiday season but anyone who has played it knows it fits the bill for Halloween too.

Play with all audio on headphones in the dark and it's on!

I can't do that game. I just can't. The first time I tried I was already a nervous wreck and my friend decided to grab me at the same time the xenomorph got me. I screamed and I'd never admit it to him but I peed myself a little.

Castlevania will always feel right at home around Halloween but the first game for the NES is especially cool because most of the bosses are the classic movie monsters.
De-Cap Attack is another good one that fits the mood for Halloween and has a sense of humor.
Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday?
