Picked this 3rd party Xbox controller up the other day. Really impressed with the quality, everything feels great and does what it should except the d-pad. Well, it works just fine for anything other than fighting games. Name of the company is TTX Tech. Another interesting fact about this controller: apparently (according to the manager at the game store) this company takes broken Xbox controllers and makes these from the parts! Seems illegal, probably why they are made in China. One last thing I want to add about this controller is the rumble/vibrate feature. I didn't notice until I used a Microsoft brand controller but this ones rumble isn't as good as a name brand. It works fine but for example in OutRun while your driving there is a low rumble in the controller simulating the engine, couldn't even feel it with the 3rd party controller. Overall I would still recommend this controller if you needed an extra for couch multiplayer, the pros outweigh the cons for sure.

I had a device for the original Xbox that allowed you to use a PS2 controller. I got it specifically for playing CvS2 online.
The only issue was that the controller constantly rumbled. I'm guessing from some kind of difference in hardware or current. It was okay but would leave your hands numb if you played too long because of the constant vibration haha.

Has anyone used the official sega arcade sticks and the flight stick? I got a 3 button joystick and to be honest im pretty dissapointed with it. The stick is almost like an Atari 2600 controller in terms of build quality and I think Sega definitely cheaped out on it. Wonder if its just the one I got.
As for the flight stick I may pick one up just 'cause I like collecting hardware. Are they fun for After Burner?

They stepped it up with the quality on the 6 button version. While it's definitely no Mad Catz stick it's at least acceptible for fighting games on there. I believe Brandon has one of the flight sticks and Afterburner for 32X. Maybe he can give some insight.

Honest opinion: it's neat but it's not going to become a go-to controller for After Burner or Space Harrier. It's hard to explain but I feel like if they had made the base of the Genistick bigger I would like it better. It's so small and the way I have to hold it makes my hands cramp. It has suction cups but the one I have doesn't work so well. I would still say to pick one up if you find it cheap enough. Try Amazon before eBay as sellers usually want around $25 for them. Found mine on Amazon for $12. As far as arcade sticks go I've not used a Sega brand 6-button before but the ASCII stick I have kicks ass, I love it. Again, I would check retro shops for this. Most ppl only ask a few bucks for them because they are 3rd party but they are high quality.

Got my ASCII Saturn Arcade stick the other day and I love it. They really improved the quality over their Genesis arcade stick. It has microswitches in the stick itself and has a nice clicky sound. Buttons are a little on the small side but are perfect for my hands. So many great fighters on the Saturn it was a no brainer to obtain an arcade stick.

You gotta keep an eye out for the Alpha 3 port for Saturn now. Can be kind of expensive when it pops up but it's a worthy "holy grail" title to seek.
