Playing some Cho Aniki tonight. Just an absolutely amazing Japanese Shmup, I can barely play it because I'm laughing my ass off. Now I've heard of this game, it's a pretty infamous game but had no idea it was on PSN! $6? Yes please.

I'm still not sure whether this shows what a brilliant sense of humour the Japanese have about themselves or if they really are just that eccentric.

They give you plenty of options to configure the size and picture. Plus, I can download it to my PS3 as well (hopefully PS4 too eventually) without paying again to experience it on a full size television. The picture quality itself on the Vita is pretty damn impressive not that you can tell from a PS1 game but it's very nice and the screen is a lot bigger than what most people realize, I would say about twice the size of a PSP.

I tried Unlimited Saga last night. The graphics are nice, but the dubbed voices are a bit of a pain (although I'm used to that from most video games and anime). Also, it has the weirdest setup/controls for an RPG. I wasn't too crazy about it the first go-around, but I'm going to give it another shot. If I'm still not liking it, it's probably going back up for sale.

Played through "Beyond Oasis" this week, Fistofthewind has been suggesting this game to me for years and I'm glad I finally got a chance to play it. Criminally underrated Action RPG for Genesis owners looking for an answer to Nintendo's Zelda series. Oasis is not a Zelda clone at all (in my opinion) but does have similarities to the series.
Also been playing Panic!, Mad Dog McCree (lol, I'm being serious) and just started a game on Phantasy Star 4 but haven't played it enough to form an opinion of it yet.

Panic really is something else haha, a truly bizarre adventure to say the least.
I'm glad you enjoyed Oasis. I'm working on Legend of Oasis tonight. As soon as I'm done I'll let you borrow it if you're hungry for more adventure with your spirit buddies.

Put a few hours into Phantasy Star this morning. Going to play Wolf-Child later this evening and maybe a few SNES titles too. What? Don't look at me that way...

There was a big show this morning and I've finally got a bit of time to settle in and play some games. I played through Die Hard Arcade and I played some Mcdonalds Treasure Land. Don't laugh it's good!

I'm down haha. Brandon MOSES BEAM! (inside joke haha) I discovered my Master System has Safari Hunter on it so me and the kiddo have been playing that this evening. The Sega light phaser is pretty sweet, I need to try it out on Lethal Enforcers if it'll work.

I downloaded MegaMan Legends on my Vita, waiting until I finish Phantasy Star before playing but booted it up just see how well the polygon graphics hold up these days. Pleasantly surprised, the cartoonish look they used has helped it age much better than other games of the time that went for a more realistic look. Legends is $10 on PSN as opposed to the usual $6 for a PS1 game so I'm guessing there are looking to make some cash from the fan base of the series. Fine with me because after releasing Misadventures and Legends within 3 months they should be posting Legends 2 around the first of the year. Really looking forward to playing that one again, I only played through it once when I had it but I do remember it being a good sequel, improved graphics and gameplay all around. I also remember trading my copy into Game Stop for like $10 back in the day...if only...lol
