Lol Spider-Man font... It does look a lot like the font used on the Sam Raimi movie posters. The rumor on the rumor mill is that Sony "may" release an update that turns PS4 backwards compatible for PS2 and maybe PS, but definitely not PS3. But that's still a rumor to my knowledge.

I would imagine it's more of an emulation kind of deal. Of the hardware at least. Surely the PS4 is powerful enough to handle PS and PS2 titles with little problem.

Can any of you comment on the newest design of the PS3? I found a place locally that has all three PS3 designs for sale for roughly the same price. I think the original PS3 is hideous so lets rule that one out. Are there any benefits or pros and cons for the other two?

Some of the original big fat ones are backwards compatible... Food for thought.

Do any of you guys have a version 4 model 2 Genesis? The one with the 2/3 board and different chips? I've always had some compatability issues with my 32X that shouldn't be there. For example, I can't play Castlevania Bloodlines if my 32X is attached or Wacky Worlds. Fist let me borrow his copy of Knuckles Chaotix and it doesn't work either! There is very little information about this online but someone did post something about it on Twitter the other day and said these issues were due to the 2/3 board Genesis not the 32X itself. Just curious if one of you guys had one just to see if you got the same results or if any of you have had compatability issues that are not usually listed.

Ask fist, back before the holidays i gave him a 2/3 board model 2 our dad saved from a yardsale. I dont know if he still has it or not but if he does maybe you guys can experiment with it or something.

Not to get off subject but I don't think that version is as rare as people believe it to be. Hell, we came across like 5 over the summer, lol. I wil ask him about it.

I hear the same thing on other sites that you get a good 3 years out of them before the optical drive goes out Maybe I should just keep my money and go on up to an Xbox One or PS4.

Anyone know a good technique to clean the cart slot on a model 1 Genesis without having an actual cleaning kit?

Anyone know a good technique to clean the cart slot on a model 1 Genesis without having an actual cleaning kit? Use a tooth brush with rubbing alcohol (moistened, make sure the brush isn't holding onto a lot of the fluid) and dip into the slot. After that, take a credit card and wrap in a cloth (something as lint free as possible). Dip the card in and out of the slot to pull up the grime the brush didn't get.

The model 1 cart slot has quite a bit more grip than the model 2 so Ive been having some trouble getting un there. Thanks for the pro-tip!
